We're now looking for a Global Sandvik Coromant Knowledge and Center Manager who wants to work strategically to ensure successful operations and solutions with a forward-thinking approach.
About your job
In this role, you take accountability for the strategic direction of our global centers, as well as for establishing and reaching their objectives. With your ability to create a vision and manage change, you take our centers to the next level while keeping everyone on board. You drive the creation of inspiring, innovative and creative machining events for our customers using our full and extended offer, and make our centers become catalysts for business discussions. Leading an international team of managers and professionals, you ensure successful and efficient utilization of the centers and are responsible for leading and executing a balanced and efficient mix of activities.
You drive our growth strategy by creating efficient methods to support sales and ensure our brand position within our Sales Areas.
In good cooperation with our Sales Areas and the marketing team, you manage and develop a team of professionals in the centers, and you ensure transformation of sales and marketing needs into center strategies and sales support.
Together with the support of the Sandvik Coromant Academy, you continuously drive and develop the program as a center for learning.
You establish and strengthen the global networks within the centers to ensure productive synergies.
Driving a digital approach, you utilize technology for improved efficiency and reach between the centers.
Securing cooperation with Offer Management and R&D, Sales and other stakeholders is an important part of the role.
You report directly to the Head of Marketing and are a valued member of the Sandvik Coromant Global Marketing Team.
The location for this role is flexible between our Sandvik Coromant Centers globally, such as in Langfang (CN), Mebane (US), Renningen (DE) or Sandviken (SE) to name a few, and travel between the centers is a natural part of your job. See all our Sandvik Coromant Centers here:

We're looking for someone with extensive experience in a leading position similar to this one, with a proven track record of leading teams in a global setting. In addition, you have previously been leading managers and possess a deep understanding of business development, sales, and business operations. You're highly skilled in strategic planning and tactical execution, with a demonstrated ability to manage change and lead transformations. You combine this with good knowledge and interest in the trends and developments of technology - you have a clear vision of the future of machining, including concepts like automation and industry 4.0, and the ability to inspire and conceptualize about it. A degree in marketing, business, sales, engineering, or the equivalent knowledge is required. Excellent stakeholder management and business acumen are also essential for the role. Finally, you should possess strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
Your personality truly makes the difference, and you possess an inherent capability and genuine interest in managing, leading, and motivating teams and individuals in a virtual and global matrix organization. Communicating effectively at all levels comes easy to you - you're able to establish trust with others and have good networking and stakeholder management skills. You bring a cross-border and functional approach to your work, always keeping your focus on achieving results. Being exceptionally structured, you excel at planning, and are able to act on both short-term and long-term objectives. Add a unique ability to zoom in and out and look at your mission from both a strategic and holistic perspective, and you're well-equipped to make a significant impact in this role.
