Global Sales Assistant
Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
Lavasoft is recruiting a Global Sales Assistant to primarily support the Global Sales Manager's sales activities and provide general sales department support and administration. Sales manager support includes:
Research for clients / industry sectors / competitor analysis, etc.
Initial research and booking meetings for sales managers
Setting up conference call meetings. Administration related to sales campaigns and initiatives. Diverse sales administration.
The sales assistant is also responsible for general department support and administration, with tasks including:
Compile and present monthly and on-request sales statistics and reports. Administer pricing and accurate data entry for web-based shopping carts. Compile and deliver same-day quotations for Enterprise customer enquiries. Manage quotations including follow-up, proactive telephone dialogues, and monthly reports
Effectively address incoming customer enquiries primarily by phone contact and, when necessary, by email. Drive direct sales transactions internally wherever possible to meet sales goal, and interact with Accounting department for all customer/partner transactions. Diverse department administration. Sound communication with accounting, web development, customer support, and the technical departments will be necessary as the tasks assigned to the Sales Assistant will sometimes require research and support from these teams.
General information
Global Sales is one of three sections, alongside Marketing and Account Management that report to the VP, Sales & Marketing.
Candidate Criteria:
Essential
Documented sales or administration experience. Preferably, but not necessarily, from an international high tech or IT environment
Analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detailand accuracy. Ability to independently calculate, compile and interpret sales statistics effectively. Experience of Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel. Strong skills in time management and working to strict deadlines. Confident telephone sales person.
Good cultural understanding. Excellent spoken and written English, as official company language is English. Goal-oriented, self-motivated and strong initiative.
Desirable
Higher education studies, preferably within International Business and/or Retail Sales/Marketing related. Swedish language is an advantage but is not required. Able to work independently, though within a team environment. Understand the advantage and challenge of working in a small company environment.
