hela Sverige The Tube product unit in Sandviken is the largest product unit within the Sandvik Group's Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) business area. As a leading manufacturer of tubes for special applications, SMT has a unique capacity for meeting the different specifications and requirements of the industry. It has experience from being one of the selected suppliers in this field for many years and is regarded as the main supplier by many of the world's leading oil companies and fabricators.
We are presently running a vast change program, thus increasing the work for the Marketing and Sales organization. We are now looking for a Global Product Manager for the High temperature Tube Application Segment. The position is located at the Tube product unit (PU) in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As a Global Product Manager, you have the responsibility for marketing and sales of our Special Tube products, with a global business approach as the main goal. You are also responsible for profitability of the product line and ensuring that our products are sold in the optimal manner. Responsibility for Product Strategy includes:
• Product portfolio
• Pricing
• Supply and channels to markets
• Branding strategies
• Sales promotions and marketing
• Investments
The position requires close cooperation and relationship building with key customers, our sales units and our production units. As a member of the PU Marketing Management Team, it also includes strategic involvement with key PU marketing issues and development.
Your profile
You hold a bachelor's degree in business studies, or have relevant work experience, and have good strategic capabilities, including strong ?change management? and good leadership skills. International experience is a plus and fluency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.
