About the role
The Global Procurement Manager will be a member of the Global Indirect Procurement team optimizing the marketing agency strategies to increase the return on Essity's marketing investments. You report to the Global Procurement Category Team Lead, Marketing & IT. Some international travel will be required.
What You Will Do
Be Essity 's marketing procurement expert in Creative Agencies/Content Production across Essity's organization and business units
Develop, lead and execute global, forward looking category strategies for creative agencies and content production, e.g. identify and drive key programs to achieve efficiency targets and setting supplier base portfolio to serve the business needs and market developments.
Capability to create global competitive advantages and performance by managing and leading the marketing agencies category towards an optimal total cost approach & overall efficiency in delivering long term sustainable profitable growth
Obtain an efficient vendor eco system for the area of marketing agencies with strong supplier management practices and ensure usage of preferred supplier contracts to maximize results and to comply with the Procurement strategy
Gather and analyze spend and cost data, identifying opportunities for consolidations and negotiations based on data as well as run RFPs of various level of complexity and negotiate contracts to meet business requirements while delivering value for Essity
Influence the Essity's business units through strong stakeholder and relationship management as providing a clear direction in the creation and execution of category strategy
Close cooperation and alignment with operational Procurement, to ensure implementation and deployment of programs and initiatives around the globe through efficient purchasing processes from the strategy to the delivery
Who You Are
University/BA-/BS-College degree, Master is an advantage
Strong Marketing Procurement background with proven evidence of managing category through whole life cycle from strategy creation through procurement and supplier management
Demonstrated experience in resilient cross-functional leadership while driving multi-functional projects in an international environment as well as strong data analysis skills and experience of running large scale global RFP processes with success
Positive attitude, energy and confidence with excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage and efficiently influence internally and externally when setting directions and driving results
Solution oriented mindset with energy to drive decision making and utilize strategic thinking
Self-leadership and productive approach to actively remove complexities while inspiring and encouraging the team peers.
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Fluent in English (written and oral) is a must, second language preferred
Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Ariba, SAP, Power BI)

You have strong cooperation and communication skills as well as a strong interest in developing relationships with stakeholders.
