hela Sverige In this role, you will provide state-of-the-art Project Management know-how, ensure standards, solutions and support, as well as enable people development and governance to projects throughout the RCS & Wayside project portfolio. The overall PMO organization supports the development, establishment, and deployment of a project management strategy, capability and culture in our global business, with the goal of increasing its effectiveness.
The generic role for the Global PMO RCS & Wayside can be split up further into 4 categories:
1. Processes
2. Tools
3. Governance
4. Communications/PMO Network
Given the global nature of the position, the successful candidate can be based in any of our RCS locations globally (e.g. Sweden/USA/Germany/Poland/Italy/Spain/Thailand). You will be reporting directly to the Head of Project Management RCS & Wayside.
Key Responsibilities and Challenges
- Ensure and follow up an effective and efficient governance (Project Reporting, Gate Reviews)
- Actively support the development of new, generic, standard processes on BT level
- Develop RCS & Wayside Global Business supplements to generic processes where required
- Evaluate new tool or tool-adjustment demands and forward to BT Chief Project Office
- First point of contact for PM tools for the Global RCS & Wayside PMO Community which is organized in Portfolios (North, South, AMER, APAC and Internal Onboard)
- Support building up data-driven decision-making processes
- Act as an expert in Project Management processes
- Ensure proper cascading of information to the RCS & Wayside PMO community
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Finance)
- Excellent knowledge of IT tools like MS Office, MS SharePoint and basic knowledge of SAP BI/BO
- Minimum 5 years of work experience post graduate in a relevant organization (e.g. Project Management, Bids, Sales, Contracts & Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Operations or Finance)
- Knowledge of Project Management practices and processes
- International work experience is highly valued
- Proven track record of successful involvement in several projects
- Experience in data analysis/data science techniques is highly appreciated
- Excellent English communication skills
