The team "Management System, Methods & Tools" has the mission both on a Corporate level, and on P&Q level, to develop, lead, educate and continuously improve the following areas: Volvo Cars Management System and Quality Methods & Tools.
Position & Responsibilities
There are big challenges ahead of our team.
The business in Volvo Cars is changing rapidly, and the challenge is to adapt our present Management System to a new, flexible and user friendly system, that better supports our future global operations. Leadership, creativity and skills in change management will be an important part of the journey ahead, and to succeed not only in creating a better system, but to get it working in reality.
To do this we are looking for someone to:
* Lead the development of Volvo Cars Management Systems in general and related subjects such as Process Management, Risk Management, Environmental aspects, Change Management
* Lead improvement projects and assignments
* Support the business and its processes in effective implementation and maintenance of quality and environmental standards (i.e. ISO 9001, 14001 etc.)
* Drive and develop relevant methods and tools as an integrated part of Volvo Cars management system
* Processes, Systems and Tools ownership where relevant
Requirements
* MBA / B. Sc. / M.Sc. in Engineering, or equivalent
* Broad operational experience within Volvo Cars
* Leadership experience
* Operational development skills
* Good strategic and analytical ability
* Knowledge and experience in Quality and/or Environmental standards
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
