The purpose of Global Field Level Specialists is to increase Process Radar sales and business development by acting as a liason between the product company and the global Emerson channels, raising awareness and gaining mindshare for Process Radar products. You are expected to identify white spaces and grow our business in your assigned market/world area, either by educating sales and other internal functions on how to gain market share, or by taking direct action and working with customers to drive business forward.

You will be working close with sales, project pursuit, world area level champions, key account managers as well as end-users to ensure that strategic initiatives and sales goals are met. Close collaboration with internal functions such as service, engineering, product management and project execution is also required to fulfill customer expectations. This means that you must have excellent communication skills and an ability to create relationships with many different levels and cultures.

The position has a high business focus and requires both strategic thinking as well as a high drive for results. You must be able to analyze the business environment and set your own objectives and strategies for how to reach success, and have an ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.

Job Responsibilities

Build and maintain close relationship with key stakeholders in assigned market/world area
Drive product awareness and Process Level mindshare worldwide
Provide input to and support strategic initiatives in assigned market/world area
Communicate and facilitate implementation of Process Level sales strategies
Participate in project pursuit and account penetration planning and execution
Provide product expertize to both internal and external parties
Identify white spaces for existing product base and drive growth by targeting these
Provide training to various sales channels
Provide input on sales product knowledge and training needs
Maintain and communicate knowledge on: - Competitors - Products and applications - Strategies
Qualifications

Engineering or business degree
Several years of experience in the process industry
Demonstrated knowledge of Process Radar products
Fluent in English
High Customer Focus
Preferred but not required qualifications

Language skills (Russian, Spanish, Chinese)
Emerson marketing and/or sales experience
