We are now looking for the right person to step into the role as Global Distribution Director in Axis central sales organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Global Distribution Director is responsible to continuously develop and maintain the global distribution strategy which is a base for regional distribution strategies. As part of this role he/she shall proactively support the regions in implementing a long term sustainable distribution landscape.

He/She will be in charge of Central Account Management for Global Distributor Accounts, driving the central relations and needed cross regional coordination. It will be on his/her agenda to evaluate potential and present distributors continuously in order to make sure that we have the best partners in line with our strategy.

The role also includes a close cooperation with other departments within Axis both to share market knowledge internally but also to secure efficient implementation of cross functional processes. Key stakeholders in this task are Operations, Product Management and Legal. One key example of this is to, together with legal, support the regions in distributor agreement negotiations.

The holder of this position shall also proactively develop and implement various distribution related processes, tools and guidelines and implement these in the local markets in an efficient way. He/She is expected to share best practice between the regions, including organizing meetings for knowledge sharing and trainings to the Distributor Account Manager network.

The Global Distribution Director must have a shown interest in leading a function with a people focus, securing an environment of coaching and giving feedback, identifying development needs, taking actions and follow up, supporting employees to reach their full potential. He/She should be a role model for the team with high ambitions supporting the team reaching their goals. This with a global scope, supporting all our regional operations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that suitable candidates have a strong interest in go to market models and a very good understanding of an indirect sales model with experience of working strategically on a medium to long term perspective. You have experience from system and solution selling and a proven record from doing business on a global level with cultural awareness.

Important qualifications:

• Extensive expirience (at least 10 years) from operational technology sales in a two tiered indirect business model
• Expirienced manager/leader with several years of expirience leading people in a multi-cultural environment located in several countries
• Very strong skills im network video technology
• Expirience from handling multinational IT and security distributor on a strategic level
• Excellent knowledge in english (written and spoken) and one other major global language relavant for Axis growth in our emergin markets (Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, Russian)
• High willingness to travel, at least 60% of your time.

Furthermore you are a strong leader and role model with high integrity and self-awareness. You have the ability to build, manage, motivate and unite your team around a common goal. Being open minded and self-driven with an interest in building close business relations comes easy to you.

• Analytical and structured personality
• Ability to prioritize
• Relevant university degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
