As we are planning the spin off and list of our division Patient and Post-Acute Care (PPAC), also known under the brand name ArjoHuntleigh, we are successively building up the new spin off organization. Therefore we are recruiting a Vice President IT Operations who will be a key player in this new set up, securing our IT operations, managing a team of nearly 50 employees worldwide and interfacing with many different stakeholders inside and outside the organization. The Position
In this position you will be responsible for Arjo's technology infrastructure, service delivery and IT Operations. The role is instrumental in managing and supporting world-class operational systems that serves Arjo, our associates, and business partners with excellence.

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Overall leadership of the technical operations, including infrastructure, systems and servers, applications, networks, database(s), licenses, telecom, and all other aspects of the company's technical operations across multiple site locations
• Oversees the day to day operations of a global servicing environment as well as planning for new initiatives as required by the strategic direction of the company
• Participate in strategic planning, tactical operation planning, and the development of contingency operation plans for all system environments
• Facilitate and manage governance around IT project initiation, prioritization and management
• Conduct capacity planning to ensure timely acquisition of IT resources and/or services, plan and execute resources resource development and training programs
• Maintain, test and create plans to ensure the high-availability goals are met (SLA's)
• Prepare disaster recovery site and test exercises to restore all operations in the required manner and timeframes
• Develop and direct long term infrastructure strategy
• Develop and implement common standards, procedures, best practices, and business procedures
• Assists in budgeting and planning process for IT operations on annual basis; tracking spending accordingly
• Ensure a motivated, capable and effective operations team
• Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as necessary
• Approve purchases of hardware, software and other services and establish partnerships with IT providers
• Ensure compliance with international regulations such as FDA, HIPPA, a.o.
• Ensure validation of GXP relevant systems

The position is located at our Head office in Malmö and you will be reporting directly to the CIO for ArjoHuntleigh. Since you will have a global scope, international travel is required in this role.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for you to have the following experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field
• Minimum of five years' experience in Technical (IT) Operations with progressive experience in Technical Operations leadership
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and implementing IT process frameworks, management and analytics
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver projects on timelines that support corporate goals and objectives
• Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as demonstrated ability to solve problems with innovative solutions
• Ability to quickly and accurately assess the IT organizations' services, performance, processes, and resources, and develop action plans comprised of specific, achievable initiatives that will improve IT in areas most important to the business
• Experience implementing systems/processes to track baseline operational procedures and advising on direction to reduce baseline operational costs while maintaining quality of service
• Fluent proficiency in English is necessary and proficiency in German is an advantage
