The General Manager (GM) at POC is directly responsible for the global financial health of the POC organization and the success of its operations. The GM will report to the CEO and provide leadership over global strategic short and long-term planning, forecasting, annual budgeting and organizational planning while managing day-to-day operational and administrative systems and processes necessary to support the Company's plan(s). Operational responsibilities will include oversight of POC platform/operational staff and supporting collaboration with Black Diamond, Inc.'s Platform functional leaders to assure company objectives are met with the desired levels of efficiency and quality. The GM is a key member of POC's senior leadership team and will foster practices and policies that support the company's brand identity and core culture.

• Strategic planning and budgeting
• Financial planning, analysis and reporting

• Founds and investment oversight
• Business operations

Qualifications
The right candidate for the position of General Manager holds the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations Management or other related fields. Master's Degree in Business or other related field is preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in Finance, Business and/or Operations with financial and management responsibility. Previous branded consumer products industry experience is strongly preferred, as well as public company experience.
Skills and general experience:
• You have broad organization functional knowledge including organizational and strategic planning, financial management and budgeting skill.
• You must have keen and exceptional ability to synthesize complexity and make informed decisions in uncertain situations using available data.
• Experience in a branded consumer products organization is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong people skills with an ability to coach a dynamic and effective team on getting to the next level.
• Sensitive to a strong organizational culture.
• Skill in organizational development, personnel management and resource development.
• Success developing and monitoring systems to manage both operations and work that involves high levels of collaboration
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and a commitment to the mission.
