General ledger Accountant at Educatius Group AB
Our client Educatius Group AB are now recruiting at General Ledger Accountant working with the Nordic entities within the group.
Educatius Group AB is a fast growing, dynamic and entrepreneurial company and we are looking for a person with accounting experience, an entrepreneurial mindset and someone who takes pride in ownership.
You will be based at HQ in the city center of Gothenburg. You report directly to the Accounting Manager based in Gothenburg and are part of a team consisting of 10 persons.

Educatius Group is today a global leader in international cross-border high school programs. Since its start in 2003, Educatius has grown from sending a handful of Chinese students to US Boarding schools to in 2017 approximately 5,500 students originating from 50+ countries going on varying high school exchange programs in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and European countries.
Educatius Group is privately held, where the owners as well as the overall holding company is domiciled in Sweden and head operations are run out of Gothenburg.
Job description:
• Total accounting for FriFiSi which is a small entity in Sweden
• Responsible for monthly reconciliations for all Nordic entities
• Part of year end tasks for all Nordic entities
• SCB & other authority statistic monthly reporting
• Reconcile periodical EU sales for Nordics
• Maintain monthly reporting documents (intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly reporting schedule etc)
• Maintain monthly accruals for all Nordic entities
• Intercompany sign off for the group on all open AP/AR amounts
• VAT reporting for all Nordic entities
• Back up for Accounting Manager
You will also take an active role in growth and improvement projects within accounting and finance
Qualifications and profile:
To be successful in this position you have a university degree in finance or accounting or equivalent. You have a proven successful track record of 3-5 years within the accounting area, preferably having worked in an international or Nordic environment. Preferably you have also worked with VAT
You have experience from various ERP-systems, preferably Visma as well as having excellent Excel skills. Preferably you have worked with Nordic VAT reconsolidations and if you also have K3 frame work knowledge this is an advantage.
You also understand the complexity of a high transactional organization.

You are a strong communicator, and are able to challenge when necessary along with having the ability to work with ease in both English and Swedish.
Naturally you have a good understanding of the overalls tasks within accounting
