Mojang AB is a games studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. We were founded in 2009 by Markus "Notch" Persson. He's also the creator of our best-selling game to date: Minecraft. Since then, we've released our second game, the card-collecting tactical battler Scrolls, and dabbled in publishing with Oxeye Game Studio's awesome side-scrolling robo-blaster Cobalt. We're developing more games too. You'll hear more about those in the near future! In 2014, Mojang was bought by Microsoft. The acquisition hasn't changed much about our company - we still release and support our games on multiple platforms, including iOS, Playstation and more, as well as Windows and Xbox. We plan to keep our independent spirit and we'll continue to treat our community with the respect and honesty it deserves.

We are looking for an experienced Game Developer who is self-motivated, goal oriented and a strong team player. You take pride in your work, and know what it means to take responsibility and deliver quality focused products. You have the knowledge and ability to visualize how things should work, and how to translate this into a functioning solution. We all work together to achieve the best results. Responsibilities: - Game development in Java - Write game features to be used by millions of users - Create complete game features from scratch - Work as a part of the team, but take responsibility on an individual level
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
• Extensive experience with working in Java
• Experience with working in C++
• Wide understanding of different areas of games development
• Ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code
• Passion for games
• Fluent in spoken/written English
• Relocate to Stockholm, Sweden Added bonuses:
• Mobile development experience
• C# experience
• OpenGL and/or DirectX experience
• Experience of game development as a service
• Made a game from start to finish
