Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak.
We offer a permanent position from start in September 2022 at our site in Lund. You will onboard an individual designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person. As a Trainee here with us, you will get to know our entire business and collaborate with colleagues all over the world. And this is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career!

Tetra Recart is the first retortable carton package designed for products traditionally filled in cans or glass jars. We are in a strong growth phase and want to transform the food industry. This position is located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena and meet with customers and colleagues all over the world, and will normally include about 20% travelling.
What you will do
The Food Development Centre Tetra Recart is now looking to strengthen the team with a Food development specialist to secure and improve the quality of our customer products packed in our Tetra Recart packages. Our role is to understand the full production chain for retorted, shelf stable food and support our sales organization with food expertise to support sales growth. This position offers the possibility to work innovative and result oriented in close cooperation with our customers and with a wide internal network.
Main tasks
Support our customers and sales organisation with food knowledge and expertise by executing product development, investigations, and trials in our test facility and at customer plants
Develop technical competence regarding key food categories through the full production chain
Secure key food category competence transfer to identified internal key stakeholders
Who you are
For this position to fit you the best, we believe that you have a great interest in and a passion for food!
You have or will have a Master of Science within Food Technology or equivalent (degree finished between 2021-2022)
Work experience, or extracurricular activity that is connected to food is considered a merit. It could be working at a restaurant at a student nation or summer work in a kitchen
Your English is fluent, both verbal and in writing
You are curious and have a great will to learn and develop yourself. Since networking and social interaction is a part of your daily job, we believe that you are well spoken and like to share your ideas and reflections and present your analyses from data and trends as well as from practical work within the food technology area. You enjoy the mix of deep analytical work with running practical food trials hands-on. You have excellent interpersonal skills with focus on collaboration in all aspects, but are as well comfortable with working on your own also in new and challenging situations.
