Do you have the drive to develop new solutions for safety critical applications? Do you want to work in international projects with customers all around the world?
AVL Scandinavia PTE has around 300 employees in Sweden and we are looking for a passionate functional safety development engineer who supports our team. With our headquarter in Austria and affiliates in many other countries we have a huge variety of both customers and projects in many different areas.
Your Responsibilities:
Depending on the current project your responsibilities are
Analysis and evaluation of existing concepts and solutions Development of innovative safety strategies and functions according to current standards Validation and verification of implemented solutions Support of our customers in their development projects Technical specification of solutions and concepts Your Profile: Master's degree in Engineering (e.g. Engineering Physics,Vehicle Engineering,Software Engineering) or equivalent Knowledge in powertrain and vehicle function development (even from internships, thesis work, ...) Good knowledge in Matlab/Simulink You are able to analyze systems on abstract level and determine safety critical elements and components You have a drive and interest in safe systems development Genuine interest and knowledge in at least one of the fields of ADAS, electric drives, battery/HV systems, embedded systems and vehicles Meriting: You have experience of safety standards, such as ISO26262, and industry standard concepts C/C++, Inca, CANalyzer, Vision, Targetlink You are prepared to travel and work with our customers on site
