Could you be the 
Functional Safety Engineer for Embedded systems
 in Västerås we're looking for? 
Your future role 
Take on a new challenge and apply your Functional Safety for Embedded systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field. 
You will work with all safety-related parts of several embedded products, with a software, hardware, and system view. We put emphasis on our safety principles and have to ensure that all products are regarded safe when we release them. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business like the Project/ Program Safety Assurance Managers and many more. 
You will specifically Deliver/perform Safety analysis, with the strict application of process as per Signalling Safety Instruction, but also participate to the elaboration of the Safety Reports and the Safety Case. 
We'll look to you for:
Ensure our process, solutions and deliverables fulfil our targets and goals to comply with the CENELEC EN50xxx standards
Cover the safety reviews of Change requests, defects and feature requests according to the change management system
Cover the mandatory safety review of documents in safety-related products programs
Create and update Safety Plan, Safety Case, Technical Safety Report, FMEA, FTA and other safety related documentation
Contribute to improvements as you collect experience

Master of science in computer science, safety critical system, or similar.
Experience in safety critical systems is beneficial.
