Function Realization Responsible - Functions and Attributes, Powertrain Engineering
Powertrain Engineering at CEVT is responsible for the development of complete powertrains for the Geely Group, where transmission development is in-house designed. The group Functions and Attribute's role in the development process is to bridge the customer need and requests to subsystem requirements by applying a function development approach.
We are now building the new functional architecture to meet the future and need to strengthen our team for future challenges and projects. We are therefore looking for another Function Realization Responsible.
Role Summary
The functions to be developed are either end-user or vehicle functions where the technical realization is not limited but to a large extent is done in the powertrain system. The major part of your work will be as a Function Realization Responsible but you will also partly be working in the role as Function owner.
As a Function Owner, you will be responsible for describing the vehicle function, why it exists and what it does, including use-cases, main interfaces, top-level requirements and safety goals. You will work with Project Managers and Product Planners as well as Function Realization Responsible. You will verify the function on complete vehicle level to capture the customer expectation.
As Function Realization Responsible (FRR) you will be responsible for the realization of a vehicle function and to develop a technical solution based on the function description and requirements from the function owner. The function realization shall include a technical concept with requirements allocated to sub-systems, both HW and/or SW requirements. If applicable, the FRR develop a functional safety concept. You shall verify the function in vehicle to secure the subsystems are cooperating as intended.

Required Skills and Experience
- Master Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in Powertrain development
- Meriting is previous work experience in large scale automotive in Powertrain system engineering role or similar.
- Genuine interest for vehicles and vehicle functions without the need to dig deep into detailed technical solutions.
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
