Function Developer Transmission - Powertrain Engineering Controls & Calibration
The Powertrain Engineering Controls & Calibration unit is responsible for the development of transmissions and electric propulsion systems and the controls associated with these systems. The Propulsion Control Module Team is responsible for the development of the control systems for new global transmissions systems from the early concept phase to industrialization. These transmission systems will be the main technology for the Geely group. Software development is carried out in-house and together with external contractors.

Function developer Transmission
As Function Developer Transmission in Powertrain Engineering Controls & Calibration, you will work in an organization using agile software development environment. The pace is high and the work is within all development steps from idea creation, requirements definition, implementation and verification.
Typical duties include:
- designing and developing model-based hybrid transmission control algorithms
- implementing these algorithms in Matlab/Simulink/TargetLink
- software integration
- testing and verifying using MIL/SIL/PIL
- HIL testing concepts
- in-vehicle calibration and demonstration
- production software design and release
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related engineering field and an interest in powertrain control engineering
- Experience in developing embedded control systems and model based function development within the powertrain area (Matlab/Simulink and TargetLink)
- Good experience with C coding
- It is a plus if you have experience within one or several functional domains: Hybrid control, EM control, Clutch control, Shift control, Drive strategy, Shift-by wire functions, Functional safety strategies, Transmission OBD, failsafe and reliability functions.
- Good overall knowledge of transmission control systems
- Experience in data acquisition tools like (ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, etc.)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Fluent in English.
- Driving license type B
