Since 2009, Sentient has developed steering and safety products. As a smaller company with 34 employees, we really stand out and bring quality and effective solutions to our customers. As an employer you will work with the whole solution life cycle - from startup of a new project to actually test the finished solution in a real vehicle. We have access to the test tracks close to our office in Gothenburg, where we often test our solutions in customers' cars and trucks.

What will you do?
You will be a part of the Development & Integration team who develop active safety functions for steering as well as integrated controls for steering, brakes and propulsion. Your tasks include:
• Algorithm design for requirement specification
• Create development environment and models in Simulink/Targetlink
• Plan and participate in verification and testing activities
• Actively contribute in improvements to the team's way of working
• Documentation in LaTeX

To really enjoy this role, it is important that you are a team player who likes to take responsibility. You should also be a non-prestigious person who enjoys dynamic and technically challenging projects. Curiosity and taking initiative are words that describe you. And it is important to you and your team to constantly improve and stay ahead of new technology to ensure delivery of outstanding products.
Requirements
• within Automotive Engineering or equivalent area
• At least 3 years of experience from function development within automotive industry
• Good experience in control engineering and vehicle dynamics
• Great knowledge in Matlab/Simulink
• Driver's licence B or higher
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
