For our two children (girl 7 years, boy 3 years), we are looking for a loving nanny in Stockholm. We are both working full-time and are looking for somebody to become a "third parent" for our children and to accompany the family in the long term (at least 2 years).
Both children attend a Swedish school and the Swedish kindergarten and are bilingual German / Swedish.
In addition to a loving and consistent education and development of the children, the main tasks are to
• Bring to / pick up from school / kindergarten
• Supervise the children, play, take walks and read with them
• Child care (washing, dressing, bathing)
• Foster language and mathematical development, support with reading, writing and homework
• Practice social skills and build a social network for the two in Stockholm (sports clubs, music, meeting friends)
• Make appointments and accompany the children (eg, doctor)
• Cooking for the children and light housework (e.g supplementary shopping for fresh groceries, laundry of the children)
In order to fulfill these tasks independently, a good knowledge of either English or German is required.
The salary amounts to SEK 18,000 per month; additionally, we will provide a modern apartment (75sqm), within 15 minutes from our house by bike or bus.
Work hours are 40 hours per week; in a normal week, 30-35h are reached (usual work-time approx from 14:30 to 20:30 during the week, weekends off); about 3-5 times per month, an overnight stay is required
The applicant should have a formal education with child development (e.g. kindergarten teacher).
