Epidemic Sound, which was founded in 2009, produces music for Swedish TV, online video, advertising and other audiovisual media. They are now in the midst of transitioning from being a company with a few large Nordic broadcasters, to one with a large number of international customers. Their development team currently consists of 18 developers, who want to grow as a team. They look for a person who has a few years of experience in programming. You are passionate about working by collaborating towards a goal. Therefore, it is important that you as a person are a team player and that you enjoy working in teams. As a person, you are down to earth and have a strong customer focus. You are a prestigeless person who likes new technologies and constantly wants to develop.
About the role
Facing the transition, Epidemic Sound is looking for creative people to rebuild their product into a self-service and data-driven platform.
You will develop and further develop infrastructure and platforms, build and distribute features as well as ensure user-friendliness along with designers. In other words, this is a great time to join the development team at Epidemic Sound!
Your qualifications
We see that you have a solid experience and interest in frontend and backend programming,. You have a strong product focus, a strong faith in teamwork, love software development, speak English well and have a "no task is too small" attitude.
We would like you to have specialized knowledge in any part of their stack:
• JavaScript, Redux, React
• Python, Django, MySQL
• ElasticSearch
• Great data and machine learning scrappiness
• AWS fan
