Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Software Engineer to join our team with a primary focus on software requirements, quality, and testing. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our software systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and manage software requirements, track and address software faults/issues, and contribute to the testing and verification processes.

Responsibilities:
Manage software requirements by transferring all existing requirements to a requirement management tool, ensuring traceability and effective documentation.
Collaborate with software experts at our suppliers to track and manage software faults/issues, facilitating effective communication and timely resolution.
Provide testing support for application software by troubleshooting issues, creating verification plans for requirements, and enabling automated regression tests with support from the HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) team.
Offer testing support for basic software, including SW requirements and low-level testing, while focusing on troubleshooting, especially with base embedded SW integration issues.
Define and establish software flashing processes and guidelines for embedded software, ensuring smooth and efficient software updates.
Develop verification plans for System Specification (low-level SW) requirements, encompassing the creation of automated regression tests for reliable and comprehensive testing.

This position is a specialized role that demands a unique blend of technical expertise, hands-on experience, and effective collaboration with other engineers and project staff. It is a plus if you comprehend fuel cell technology software within the vehicle context and possess the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise.

Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on software requirements, quality, and testing.
Proficiency in requirements management.
Familiarity with software fault/issue tracking and management, collaborating effectively with software/hardware experts to address and resolve issues.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and practices, including the creation of verification plans and the enabling of automated regression tests.
Experience in troubleshooting software issues, particularly in the integration of base embedded SW.
Understanding of software flashing processes and guidelines for embedded software.
Ability to create and execute effective verification plans for System Specification requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
