We have set the foundation for a modern web application but need a frontend engineer to help us take it to the next level. Our users rely on excellent, fast, and simple user interfaces to quickly create high-quality annotations. You will join a team of talented developers sharing a common interest in human-machine interaction.
We use modern tools, and our web app is modularly built using TypeScript and React. We develop our backend in Scala and Python, and the complete solution is delivered using Kubernetes on Google Cloud. We offer a chance to work with the latest technology while focusing on creating simple and reliable solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding and experience in 3D representation in JavaScript (currently ThreeJS).
You will work in a cross-functional team with colleagues of various skillsets such as UX design and machine learning to create a magnificent 3D tool for LiDAR annotation. The team is self-organising around a mission to solve customer needs. Together, you take features from idea to production and improve upon the value created.
We expect you to go all the way from high-level architecture to efficient code and to have the ability to inspire others in this. A strong understanding of React is a bonus, but a solid experience of building web applications is more significant.
We expect you to take initiative and lead on areas within your domain.
