Fritidspedagog for Internationalla Engelska Skolan Österåker
IES Österåker is looking for a committed and knowledgeable Fritids pedagog to join our team. This person will work with other teachers in both Fritidshem and in the classrooms. This is your opportunity to work at a multicultural school in an international environment with an innovative and dedicated team who aim to provide the best education possible to its students.
IES Österåker will open in August 2024 in a newly built school for students in Förskola class up to grade 9. This is a 2 parallel class school providing bilingual education to its 600 students. The first year will begin with F-7, growing to full capacity by 2026.
The school is located in the city centre of Åkersberga near the train station for Roslagsbannan. Easy access to lakes and forests and the archipelago, the area of Roslagen where the school is located is rich in history and culture.
About the position:
The position is full time employment.
Main duties include:
• Creating and planning the curriculum for the Fritids program.
• Leading the the organisation of Fritids and activities in Fritids before and after school
Who are you?
• Fritidspedagog who has a good knowledge of the fritids curriculum and is eager to lead other fritids personnel in working with it.
• You are eager to incorporate the subjects taught in school with the planning for Fritids. You work well with your colleagues exchanging ideas and can actualise them into concrete plans.
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• You have knowledge of and share the values which our ethos is based on.
• You are an outstanding role model for our students
Ersättning Fixed salary
