Credit and Fraud Risk Management is in the core of Klarna's product. Our portfolio is growing in size and complexity as we introduce new markets, payment options and products. Now we are looking for additional Risk Analysts to join our Fraud Detection & Analytics Team.

As a Risk Analyst you are comfortable identifying issues, gathering information, producing analysis, presenting various options and driving resulting projects to conclusion. You identify, analyse, mitigate, monitor and report on fraud risk through;

• Development of analysis to identify emerging fraud trends

• Monitoring and analysis of fraud strategies and processes

• Working with other departments and organisations to share knowledge and data

• Evaluation of new data sources to improve fraud prevention

• Support of wider business objectives through fraud risk input into new products and system developments.

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 months of experience in a credit risk or payments fraud prevention function

• Knowledge and experience of decision systems, including rule implementation and testing.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, industrial engineering or in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics or computer science

• Experience of databases and knowledge of query languages such as SQL and SAS.

• Excellent English oral and written presentation skills

You have a passion for solving complex business problems and the ability to effectively challenge the status quo. It's important that you have a wide understanding of payments methods and internet retail ecosystem.
