Dina arbetsuppgifter
The Department is seeking motivated candidate to participate in research projects:
• Polymer-based soft-magnetic composites: development, manufacturing and processing compositions of soft-magnetic powder materials with polymers (epoxy) matrix involving micro- and nanostructured functional additives for various applications;
• Ceramics-based soft-magnetic composites: development, manufacturing and processing compositions of soft-magnetic powder materials with silicate matrix and micro- and nanosized functional additives for various applications;
• Materials for Device Applications: fabrication and testing / characterisation of materials;
• Composites modeling and models verification: mathematical description of structures and percolation processes (heat and charge transfer) in heterogeneous media such as composite materials as apply to inductive heating;
• Machining processes: comprehensive machining tests of state-of-the-art materials with analysis of performance of advanced tool materials including tool wear mechanisms and morphology characterization and achievable surface finish;
• Dynamics of machining: study and characterization of dynamics of cutting processes when machining advanced materials including organization of data acquisition of dynamic system response with further signal processing and modeling with use of approaches and methods of linear and nonlinear dynamics.
