Hooked is an impact startup developing plant-based seafood to lead the transition to a healthier seafood ecosystem. We are now looking for a Food Scientist who will have a key role in building the next generation of plant-based seafood.
The Role
You will work closely with the product development (PD) team to improve our current products as well as initiate new ones. You will be in charge of inventory management and part of the supply chain of raw material, one of the key factors in our PD.
Another important part of the role is to use your food tech knowledge to create experiment design and project planning templates for the PD and R&D.
Who you are
To be a good fit in this position, you have a bachelor, or preferably a masters degree of food science or similar as well as minimum one year experience of product development in the food industry. You are organized, structured and have a passion for food science and want to grow to become an expert within the field. Moreover, you are used to handling daily administrative work and communicating with stakeholders. It's meritorious if you have experience from handling supply chain and inventory management.
To succeed in this role, a core part of your personality is to keep curious and self-driven. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of uncertainties.
