Sandvik Tooling is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for cutting operations, as well as blanks and components.
We are now looking for a Fleet Manager to be based in Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the efficient running of the Sandvik car fleet in Sweden. Your main responsibilities include:
• Manage and follow up contracts for cars, fuel, insurance, tires and spare parts in Sweden
• Support the implementation of our future approach to fleet purchases, and develop processes, methods and tools. The work is performed in close cooperation with other business areas and procurement officers
• Participate in the fleet policy process, ensuring EU directives and environmental compliance
• Responsibility for the implementation of international fleet agreements
• Create and administer cost-effective approaches to ensure the fleet is operated and maintained efficiently
• Communicate fleet goals and objectives to all assigned locations within Sweden
• Management of the goals and objectives set up by Global Fleet Management
• Collect and present fleet statistics
• Coordination of accident reporting
• Liaise closely with the leasing companies, insurance companies and suppliers
Your profile
To be successful in the position of Fleet Manager, you will need a degree in purchasing, finance, logistics or engineering, or relevant experience. A suitable qualification in fleet management is desirable, and you must have previous experience in sourcing. You have experience of conducting business negotiations and knowledge and understanding of contracts, contract management and procurement processes.
As a person you are driven, independent, result-oriented, structured and a good team player. You have good communication skills and are used to working in matrix organizations and cross-functional project groups. The work requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
