About the job
We are looking for a Financial Controller within Alfa Laval Technologies AB that will take care of the R&D controlling for Business Unit High Speed Separators. The R&D function is responsible for developing separators to a wide range of industries, from food and beverage processing and pharmaceuticals to marine applications, oil and gas and more.
The Financial Controller appointment will be a part of the Finance Sweden organization and is placed in Tumba in the legal entity Alfa Laval Technologies AB.
More specifically your key tasks will be:

Monthly closing and reporting including analysis and presentation of the outcome to the management team and others.

Forecast preparation and reporting together with the organizations.
*
Continuous processes improvement for financial activities.
There will be some travel activity within Sweden in this role.
It is a temporary position approximately for one year with duration from end of mid June 2024 to mid July 2025
Who you are.
To succeed in this role, you know how to play in a team but also working independently, you are open to changes, and you embrace them. You master the ability to quickly understand the core of a problem and focus on the most important aspects. You remain confident in situations with unknown elements, and you have the ability to challenge yourself and others in a positive manner.
What you know.
Academic background in Finance or Accounting at university level is required. It's a pre-requisite to hold more than 3 years of experience working as business or finance controller.
You are a super user in Excel, and you are familiar with Power BI and Qlikview. Presentations skills comes along with the role, so we expect you to master PowerPoint and communication. And finally, you're fluent in both English and Swedish.
