We are looking for a Financial Controller on a temporary basis (approx. 1-1,5 year) for our Varberg office in Sweden.
The Nordic region within Riverty is considered a growth platform with clear and specific goals for the business as well as for the development of people and organizational commitment.
You will be part of the Nordic Financial Controlling & Reporting team. The team consists of 7 members situated in Norway, Sweden & Denmark but with responsibilities covering all Nordic countries. You will be one of five team members in Varberg, where you will also be a part of an international and highly professional organization with colleagues in Finance, Operations and other areas.
Your main focus is to support the Finnish legal entity, but possibly also support the team regarding entities in the other countries.

Controlling tasks and responsibilities include:
What you are expected to do:
Monthly- quarterly- and yearly closing procedures and financial reporting (P/L, balance sheet, deviations, perform/review reconciliations etc.)
Controlling and analysis of cost and profitability.
Support preparations for annual reports, audits and assist auditors.
Internal and external reporting.
Support in ensuring accurate VAT and tax treatment as well as reporting.
Daily tasks in checking vendor invoices and have contact with the Nordic Finance Shared Services in Varberg, Sweden, that supports with operational finance/accounting/performs bookings in the financial system.
Support in ensuring accounting compliance.
Support financial processes and tasks within the team.
Support with ad-hoc reporting and analysis within Finance.
Some occasional travel is to be expected.
What you should bring:
University degree in Finance, Auditing, Business or a comparable course of study
Minimum 3 years' experience within the Finance sector, preferable within accounting, auditing or financial controlling
Experience with accounting and accounting rules in a Nordic country (preferably Finland but not a requirement)
Preferably experience working with SAP and BI systems
Preferably knowledge of VAT and tax in a Nordic country (preferably Finland but not a requirement)
Excellent skills with the MS office package in general and with Excel and PowerPoint in particular
Fluency in a Nordic language and English, both written and oral
