The role
As Financial Controller you are responsible for drawing up the monthly group reporting of SealEco and verify the consolidating data of different business units. You are acting as local Financial Controller of the Swedish operations, but your responsibility is also to work together with local financial controllers of the different business units in order to report the Group results.
You will work closely with the local financial controllers to make local analysis of the performance of the business units and use this information for a consolidated Group report. The Financial Controller will report to the Group Business Controller.
Key responsibilities
This challenging position contains to act as local financial controller where the key responsibility is to manage, analyze and report the monthly and annual closing, budget and providing local management with key information to optimize the business. You identify points for improvement and with your pragmatic attitude you quickly come up with solutions. You consult with colleagues from the business, and you give solicited and unsolicited advice on achieved results and targets to be achieved. In short, a position that comes with a lot of responsibility and requires a communicative Finance specialist!
You will be responsible to report the monthly group result and analyze the results. You are skilled to develop and use modern IT applications as PowerBi as reporting tool. You will manage internal Important task is as well to do the follow-up from requests and questions from HQ in order to fulfil international standards.
Duties
• Working closely with the financial shared service center for proper financial data
• Preparing and reporting periodic closing for local and group purpose
• Providing the Group Business controller on-time with relevant data about the business
• Contribute to annual audit process
• Preparing Latest Estimate and budget
• Establish new financial (Group) procedures to ensure consistent accurate figures
• Timely and correct submission of the group's financial reports in accordance with IFRS

Your checklist:
• Master's degree in Business economics
• Proven experience in finance management / as a Financial controller
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
• Sound knowledge of Excel, Power Bi and with the ability to swiftly learn new software programs
• Auditing experience
• Compliance orientated
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Complex problem solving and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English
