Financial Control & Accounting (FCA) is the function in Group Reporting Tax & Control (part of Group Finance) with responsibility to secure that financial performance is correctly reflected for Business Areas, Truck Divisions, Group Functions and legal entities. FCA is also a global service provider through Accounting Services with process efficient, standardized service deliveries supporting local finance. FCA employs 1400+ people in 50+ countries.
FCA Group & Sweden is the part of FCA with responsibility for financial performance reporting for Business Areas, Truck Divisions, Group Functions and legal entities based in Sweden.

Position Description
We are now looking for a Financial Controller for Volvo Bussar AB to join our team. The job involves working in close co-operation with the Chief Accountant for Volvo Bussar AB as well as with your colleagues in Poland and India responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting. Together you are responsible for securing the financial reporting for Volvo Bussar AB and you provide support and perform analysis in the period end closing. You are updated with the latest changes in accounting policies and reporting requirements and you will be involved in the yearly annual report process for Volvo Bussar AB.

You have a solid interest in adding value to the accounting function, in continuous improvement work and in improving efficiency by effective use of tools. In this role you will report to Head of FCA Volvo Buses with a functional reporting to the Chief Accountant of Volvo Bussar AB.
Skills and qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration or similar education and experience in the field of accounting
Analytical, structured with attention to details, ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize and with strong commitment to get things done
Proactive, service minded with high integrity
Enjoy working in teams and contributing to a positive atmosphere
Fluent in written and spoken English
Excellent skills in SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of VGCS is an advantage
Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
Passion for continuously improving accounting and reporting
To be successful in this position you work in a structured manner and have high analytical skills. You need to be proactive and service minded, to have good problem solving abilities as well as being well organized and networking skills. But most of all you have high integrity and are a true team player and you contribute with good team spirit.
