In the role as Financial Assistant you will be a part of our newly created Financial Service Center Europe which supports companies from Germany, UK and the Nordics.
The opportunity
Your primary tasks will be to register customer payments as well as claims management and accounts receivable. Other tasks include:
• Debt collection management
• Customer credit reviews & assessments
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Reserving unsecured accounts receivable
• Reconciliation of intra-group receivables and liabilities with counterparties
Since the role will be an extra resource for different roles within the shared service center, it will give a wide range of skills within the finance department and some basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping is required.
The successful applicant
We are looking for a driven and positive candidate with at least one year experience as an accountant or similar position. You are social and comfortable with making contact with both internal and external stakeholders. Interaction, both face to face and over the phone or via email, is often in English. This is why excellent written and oral communication skills in both Swedish and English are a prerequisite. German language skills and skills in other Scandinavian languages are an advantage.
Experience from MS Office is necessary, especially MS Excel since this is our main tool. Our ERP is IFS and experience from that is an advantage.
