Atlas Copco Business Services (ACBS) provides administrative services, Finance, IT, HR and non core purchasing for a large number of Customer Centers and Product Companies around the world. Within the finance area, ACBS Finance is providing services in Group and statutory reporting, tax and accounts payable. Since two years, ACBS Finance is working with a partner, Infosys, who is responsible for most of the operational accounting tasks.
In the Nordics, ACBS Finance has a regional team who is responsible for the overall Finance service delivery to the Customer Centers. We are now looking for a candidate who can take the position of ACBS Financial Accounting Specialist.
The Finance Accounting Specialist is responsible for ensuring that reporting figures delivered by Infosys to the Business Controllers are accurate and in accordance with Atlas Copco (standard) accounting principles & guidelines as well as with local GAAP. In the first period the focus will be on performing the statutory and fiscal reporting for the supported Customer Centers in Sweden.
This position will also have an active role in the overall development of the Finance services together with our partner Infosys and in line with the business needs and Business Services process. Process alignment and improvement is vital and a continuous part of the job responsibilities.
The person will be part of the Finance Services Team in the Nordic region and will report to the Finance Services Manager Nordic.
Responsibilities
• Support the statutory and fiscal reporting, including the transition from IFRS ledger to local GAAP ledger
• Be part in coordinating statutory and fiscal developments
• Be a team player together with the other stakeholders when it comes to statutory and tax audits
• Supporting Business Controllers with the review and control of reconciliations
• Review of accounting journals, calculations, reports as required and requested by management
• Trouble shooting & ad-hoc analysis as requested and investigate discrepancies for selected areas and or entities
• First level support for Business Controller for implementing global standard accounting tools
• Process harmonisation & support
Experience and educational requirements
The desired candidate should have worked in an accounting role for at least 5 years including experience in statutory reporting, VAT accounting and Swedish GAAP
A degree in Finance and Business administration or equivalent
Good working knowledge of IFRS
Experience with Atlas Copco reporting tools (SAP, GPS, SAP-BW etc)
Fluent Swedish and English, writing and speaking
Personality requirements
A mature person with lots of integrity
A process oriented, analytical and pro-active person with excellent communication skills.
