What you will do
As a Financial Accountant you will form part of the financial backbone of our business and assist in the daily operations of the finance department. More specifically, you will:
• Provide support to the Financial Controller and CFO on monthly tasks which includes payroll, monthly billing and supplier payments
• Assist in the month-end financial closings
• Assist in project level revenue recognition and monthly deferred/accrued revenue journals
• Support the wider finance function to ensure accuracy of the accounts and a good control environment
• Build a good working relationship with teams outside of finance to support their local needs
• General support during the year end audit regarding sample and control testing
• Provide ad-hoc finance project support, as required
Who you are
Up to a couple of years of experience gained either in industry, or a practice background with the agility to adapt. Relevant industry experience (tech/online/high growth) is very preferable.
• Proven technical accounting and reporting skills
• First class communication skills, with the confidence and credibility to build trusted relationships across the business
• Outstanding organizational and prioritisation skills in order to deliver to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities, as well as collaborate and work as a team
• You will be analytically minded with close attention to detail
• Bachelor or master's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent
• Fluent in Swedish and English
