For this purpose, we are currently looking for our Swedish subsidiary a
FINANCE MANAGER (FM-SWE)
Based in our offices located in Stockholm.
Description of the Vacancy:
The F. M. will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to the Country Manager and the rest of the organization in order to enable them to make sound business decisions. We are looking for a business oriented candidate that besides the financial analysis, he/she may analyze competitors, market trends, etc. and work as a real counsel for the Country manager.
Apart from the direct reporting to the Country Manager, there is a dotted line to the European Financial Manager
These are the main responsibilities of such a position:
Manage month end close with tight deadline, in local GAAP and USGAAP.
KPI and other reporting to Corporate
Follow up of the payroll and staff administration
Local tax, Sarbanes Oaxley and regulatory compliance.
Financial reporting to the Central Bank
Close supervision of periodic controls and cash reconciliations (proper shops)
Accurate monthly forecast update.
Support to Country Management for business development: profitability, new project and other "ad hoc" analysis.
Research and report on factors influencing business performance
Relationship with internal and external audit.
The successful applicant will need:
A' level standard education or equivalent,
At least 5 years of proven working experience in Finance roles
To be very fluent in Swedish and English (mandatory).
An Experience in Money Transfer industry or financial sector, in multinational environment with reporting to US and/or an audit experience would be a strong asset.
Self-motivated, hands on candidate who likes to work in a proactive way.
Used to working to deadlines at times under pressure, he/she also will have the ability to set up new activities and to deliver effective presentations to internal and external senior executives.
