About the role
We are on a mission to improve people's quality of life and we are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Hästens team in Köping. As a Finance Manager, you will play an active role in the Finance leadership team, be responsible for accounting for the Swedish companies, P&L and balance sheet analyses, budgeting and annual reports. You will have a major role having overall responsibility for the Swedish entities and together with your team providing the finance support the company needs.
Responsibilities
• Aligning and driving financial processes together with Finance USA and Finance Europe and Asia, reporting directly to the CFO.
• Working in collaboration with Hastens Finance Specialist Team to deliver all financial data to the group
• Responsible for the process and administration around hard close and year end closing
• Be responsible for deadlines in monthly reports and annual reports are met
• Analyze financial data
• Investment control
• Intercompany billing, eliminations and internal audits
• Approving VAT returns
• Compile the necessary data in preparation of weekly, monthly and annual reports.
• Responsible for accounting in the Swedish entities and overseeing daily tasks related to Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable and Accounting and lead the employees in Finance Sweden
• Responsible for payroll for the Swedish entities
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, accounting agency, tax agents, local tax and government authorities where required
• Working in collaboration with Digital department for the ERP system projects.
• Various questions/issues from organization such as accounting, Tax, VAT, processes and ERP system
Skills and requirements
• Worked within finance at least 8 years preferably in an international environment
• Experience in people management for at least 3 years
• At least Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, Master degree is preferable
• Strong analytical capacity
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly detailed oriented and organized
• Based in Köping (hybrid is okay)
• Ability to travel when required
• Fluent in English
