Do you want to work in an international organization, in close collaboration with Production Control and Group Finance functions in the tool industry? Do you have a solid experience in working in an accounting department? Then this might be the right position for you!
Main task and responsibilities
Your focus will be to support the production controlling functions, reporting directly to the Accounting manager. You will be responsible to post all production related system bookings (journal entries) prepared by Production controllers and assist in all administrative production issues like Obsolescence Reserve calculations, reconciliations and prepare monthly binders.
• Support Production controllers in all accounting related issues
• Standard journal entries in the accounting system for all production related
movements
• Prepare basic information, as well as binders, for account reconciliation
• Prepare Inventory lists for controllers analyses
• Monthly binders when the closing is done
• Control and follow of GIT (Goods In Transit) and RNI (Received Not Invoiced)
• Book and control of assets
• Prepare bases for monthly reconciliations between accounting Ledger and
system sub ledger
You will work closely with our three Production Controllers in Lidköping and coordinate and support the monthly closing process in close collaboration with our Accounting Share Service Center located in Enköping. You will report to our Accounting Manager in Enköping.
Who are we looking for?
To be qualified for this position you need a solid experience (minimum 3-5 years) from working in an accounting department in a similar role. If you have a degree in Accounting or Finance that will be a plus, but your solid experience is most important to us. We are looking for someone who can work independently as well as with the colleagues, a flexible person with ability to take own initiatives and is committed to delivery and have good prioritization skills to get all tasks completed in the time required. You have focus on high quality of work completed. We believe that you have excellent computer skills, external audit experience would be a plus as well as knowledge of US GAAP and/or IAS. Our corporate language is English and therefore it's a requirement of fluent English, both written as well as spoken.
