Accounting Shared Service Centre Sweden is a supporting function within Business Area Speciality Chemicals, reporting to the Director of Accounting projects. Shared Service Centre is supporting the three Business units Functional Chemicals, Surface Chemistry and Pulp and Performance Chemicals.
Business Area Specialty Chemicals has an immediate opening for the following role as Financial Financial Accountant/Key- User SAP, in our Accounting Shared Service Centre Sweden.
This is a temporary position for one year.
As a Financial Accountant you will ensure the timely supply of relevant financial information to the business and ensure timely processing of invoices.
Responsibilities
• Executes and analyses accounting activities
• Provides reliable, timely and complete internal and external accounting, as well as archiving and documenting work as required for effective accounting and internal control
• Initiates and supports in implementing improvements and corporate guidelines
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly and yearly book close, including balance sheet reconciliations and prepare reports.
• Key-user; act as liaison officer between the finance function and the IM department for issues regarding our ERP-system (SAP)
Requirements
• Master of Science or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting/controlling
• Leadership skills
• Well developed computer skills (ERP), insight into database structures, basic knowledge IT-processes
• Excellent English skills
• SOX equivalent knowledge preferable
To be successful in this position you should be a good team player that is eager to contribute to continuous improvements. You are used to work with deadlines, have strong SAP skills and work experience from relevant areas. You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing and as a person you are service minded, curious, responsible, and result oriented.
