hela Sverige For our Nordic Tyco team we are now looking for a Field services technician with experience from the fire protection industry. We are on the outlook for someone with excellent customer service skills and somebody that are dedicated and proactive with the daily tasks!
What you will do
You will perform valuable field services that support proper installation, testing, operation, maintenance and QA issues of our products and systems (installed in the field). In your work you will also provide sales support and technical support on the correct design, installation and maintenance of our products and systems.
You will also take part and host on-line and live training sessions targeting both internal and external audiences. You will train these groups on application, design, installation and maintenance for all Johnson Controls Tyco solutions and relevant industry codes and standards.
How you will do it
Provides on-site field services activities on products and systems
Facilitates and supports local Field Services Technicians with tools and processes to standardize on ensure uniform field services
On-site or centralized hands-on trainings or demonstrations to internal and external customers
Provide specific technical services support related to practical installation and maintenance issues
Assistance and active hands-on support to internal improvements projects
What we look for
Mechanical engineering degree. Similar background through education or experience
Experience in the field with hands-on activities in the mechanical industry
Behavioural and communication skills to deal with sensitive situations on site and provide 'on the spot' solutions
Knowledge of computer programs (MS Office, SAP)
Knowledge of and experience with fire protection and mechanical applications
Experience on how to deal with a wide variety of job site situations with their specific EH&S challenges
Technical and hands-on background and general technical interest
Fluent in English - both written and oral skills
Drivers license

You can live anywhere in the Nordics, but it's an advantage if you live close to Gothenburg, so you can be close to the team, that works on-site from that location.
