hela Sverige We are looking for a Field Service Technichian who will be responsible for in-depth knowledge of the operation, such as commissioning, maintenance, and repair of equipment; the provision of instruction and training to customers' personnel in the proper use, operation and maintenance of the equipment. This position requires the ability to resolve any problems the customer is having with the equipment! PLEASE APPLY IN ENGLISH!
Essential Job Functions:
• Commissioning of stud welding and self pierce riveting systems at the customer 's site.
• Repair equipment in the field to the satisfaction of the customer, giving all available support possible
• Supply phone support to the customer
• Perform in house run outs and repairs
• Fill out Field Service reports in a complete manner with proper English so that all repairs done on site will be documented
• Develop and maintain procedures for all supported products, covering initial and final run out requirements, customer training and field installation
• Keep the company fully aware of status while in the field by calling in daily, and use of the Check In/Out System
• Negotiation with the customer 's on site
• Recommend product changes based on experience gained in the field. Changes will follow currently accepted procedures
• To present oneself in a professional manner
• Fill out expense reports and keep track of all charges on Company credit card, pay monthly bills on time and in full
• Provide training at customer sites and company facility
• To maintain a knowledge and skill base for new products and technology changes for future products or services
• All other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Experience
• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Technical Field
or Mechatronics
• Experience in Technical Service Role in an automotive environment
• valid driving license
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Microsoft Office Suite Skill set
