hela Sverige Role Summary:We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Nordic service team in GE Healthcare Life Sciences. You will together with your colleagues be responsible for servicing our customer's equipment consisting of liquid chromatography systems, SPR systems & scanners. maria.ekblom@ge.com, +46 706123045Essential Responsibilities:You will be working on customer sites, in laboratories and pharmaceutical production plants, including clean room environment. This is a field based role with extensive travelling within Sweden but also rest of Nordics and Baltics. You will be responsible for performance of customer visits, including customer coordination, travel planning and ordering spare parts. You will be expected to take part in our 24/7 stand-by team. The Swedish service team operates out of the Uppsala office, close to the global functions for BioPharma.* Coordinate and perform service visits to customers in Nordics and Baltics with primary focus on: * Plan & perform preventive maintenance visits, repairs and installation visits * Promptly complete and return relevant paperwork (and electronic evidence) associated with service visits and installations * Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues in service and sales * Maintain and keep good control of own stock of spare parts* Ability to work independentlyQualifications/Requirements:* Relevant technical or scientific education or experience* Experience in troubleshooting mechanics, electronics, software/computers/networks or fluid handling systems * Good computer skills * Fluent in Swedish, both oral and written* Fluent English as working language* Good communication and social skills* Effective organizational and administrative skills * Valid driving licence * Ability to travel extensively within Nordics and Baltics* EU work permitDesired Characteristics:* Experience of ÄKTA, UNICORN or Biacore products* Experience from field service, sales or other customer facing jobs* Knowledge of laboratory environment or GMP production * Experience from qualification/validation
