Job description
As Field Application Specialist Sweden you will be the expert on our products and responsible for planning and performing customer training on bioMérieux clinical products as well as the continuous follow up of the customer use of our products. You will provide product support both on and off site (trouble shooting, complaint handling) . You will travel to customers on a weekly basis. You make sure the customer has all the relevant information and that all relevant information from the customer about our products is registered according to our procedures and communicated to the in-house team.
As we are ISO 9001 certified it is very important to abide by the regulations, for example for registering and handling customer complaints, questions and suggestion of improvements.
In order to provide good training and support to our customers you need to be able to understand our products at a high technical level, have good teaching skills and be thorough in your work towards the company and the customer.
You will be an important asset contributing to the Nordic customer support Team. You will report directly to the Application Specialist Manager .
You will travel mainly within Sweden. Most often this will be the Göteborg and Stockholm area, but also the other area 's in Sweden will need to be visited from time to time.
There is a possibility that you also need to travel to the other Nordic countries. In the beginning you will need to be trained several times on our products in France, Lyon.
Meaning that travel (by car or plane) will be a significant part of your weekly work life !
Profile, Desirable background and personal characteristics
• Experience in a clinical laboratory or other public health care sector
• Good IT skills - knowledge of LIS and/or network would be meriting.
• University degree in microbiology or Molecular or laboratory science
• Fluent in Swedish and English- both written and spoken. Language skills in any other Nordic language is creditable
• Driving license is mandatory (company car will be provided)
• Personal profile characterized by customer focus, result focus, solution orientation, and service minded approach
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-driven and innovative
• Flexibility to travel at short notice
• You will be based either in the Swedish bioMérieux office located in Göteborg or in a home office.
