We are now looking for a Factory Manager to HVDC in Smedjebacken for our Valve Assembly Production, to lead our great teams of Production Leaders.
You will be part of The Valve Assembly production unit and have responsibility for the work environment and development of 4 managers, leading a total of 80 people. Your important mission will be to enable your employees to grow and develop with safe and agile leadership.
You will ensure the right capacity and competence for your production area to meet set deadlines and goals. You will also be responsible for running the department's improvement work and activities In addition to the work you do with your employees, you will have many contacts within the company, but also with other units within Hitachi Energy, as well as with suppliers and customers.

In this role you will have a central part of ensuring quality and delivery of projects and to support your team to develop themselves as well as the organization.

Your responsibilities
You will be part of The Valve Assembly management team and have responsibility for the work environment and workflow of the Production Leaders and factory in Smedjebacken.
You will drive initiatives and improvement activities within your area of responsibility in both short- and long-term perspective
In your role you will act as a role model by being supportive, handle change with commitment and engage your team to act and perform at their best
You will ensure the right capacity and competence for your production area to meet set deadlines and goals.

Your background
You have a technical education or equivalent work experience and a good understanding of production flows
We see that you have experience of project management or other leadership roles to be able to lead other managers
You are a curious and structured person with the drive to challenge yourself and the organization for continuous development
You also have quality- and result focus and believe that collaboration is the key to success
As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluent in English is required. Knowing Swedish is preferable for collaboration with local stakeholders.
