Overview
Reporting into the Managing Director Australia and New Zealand, the National Marketing Manager Australia and New Zealand is responsible for leading the Marketing function and supports the achievement of sales and gross profit targets through the planning, development and implementation of comprehensive business, marketing and promotional strategies. As a senior leader, the National Marketing Manager Australia and New Zealand is expected to coach and mentor the wider Marketing team.

Main Tasks
As Factory Logistics Manager you will ensure and optimize the flow of raw materials, finished products produced and other bought in finished goods, so that products can be delivered according to customer needs at the lowest possible costs in line the factory and department set priorities and objectives and the overall supply chain strategy. As Factory Logistics Manager you are responsible for all the warehousing and transport activities on site, the palletization of the produced finished products from production into the warehouses, and you are responsible for repacking and co-packing.
Key Competencies
The factory in Falkenberg has 330 employees, while the logistic department consists of 80 employees. You report to the Site Manager, with a functional line to the Manufacturing Logistics and you are part of the plant management team.
Main tasks
• Being a role model for safety * Coordination, management and delegation of responsibilities in the logistic team; development and coaching of the team; accountable for performance management * Identification and implementation of customer focused logistic solutions together with the different Essity sales organizations in various countries * Responsibility for preparation and implementation of developing a logistic strategy within the plant * Responsibility for the optimization of stock levels and cost reduction * Continuous improvement and follow up of KPI figures (service level, stock level, costs) * Leadership on Essity initiatives like Warehouse Excellence, Planning Excellence and Manufacturing Excellence programs
