hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Picsearch AB (publ) i Stockholm Picsearch is looking for an experienced web developer to enhance our existing sites plus build new distinguishing sites and features. You should have a personal interest in highly interactive functional and attractive sites, with a perfectionist tendency encouraging attention to detail for the best quality results. Successful candidates will be able to create maintainable and flexible designs that will render well in a variety of common browsers, and understand the importance of modular development. Preferably you are comfortable working in a UNIX environment with open source tools as suitable.
Required skills and knowledge:
• Thorough understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ajax standards (for commonly used versions)
• Proven experience in facilitating easy integration of designs into dynamic pages rendered by web code in scripting languages (automatic output of graphical editors including lengthy overhead in HTML source is not suitable)
• Proven experience building web designs with cross-browser compatibility in leading current browsers (including the latest releases of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome on platforms including Windows, Mac and UNIX)
• Strong written and spoken English
Preferred skills and knowledge:
• Proven experience in professional quality web design
• Studies in relevant web or design courses
• Familiarity with common and open source CMS software (for example Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, EPiServer, Polopoly)
• Graphical web and Adobe Flash design skills (for example using with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe CS5)
• Web programming experience using tools such as Python frameworks, Ruby on rails or Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
• Experience with UNIX and open source tools
Professionally you are comfortable delivering to deadlines by managing your own time and priorities well, you can handle stress and are both productive and responsible. You contribute well in teams with clear communication and a positive approach to problem solving. You have a wide knowledge and quickly learn new skills.
