You will join the growing Group Functions Enterprise Architecture team of 5 employees to support a sound IT development, promote a consistency and an adherence to the long vision of Group Functions and Nordea at large.

The position we offer
The IT Strategy and Architecture team works within IT for Group Functions, which covers the bank's core support functions, including: Group Capital, Group Finance and Reporting (group reporting, group business reporting and group regulatory reporting), Financial Anti-Crime and Group Treasury. The group is primarily responsible for setting and governing Group Functions' target enterprise architecture and strategy.
As an Expert IT Architect you will primarily focus on the developing and evolving the target architecture and IT strategy for parts of Nordea Group Functions. This will mostly cover the application architecture domain, but the team have close contact to the business architecture and data/information architecture domains.
Secondly, you will also have a large role in setting and governing architecture standards within Group Functions.
Thirdly, the role will require you to actively engage at an early stage with initiatives in our large transformation programme to provide architectural insight and guidance in order to formulate the architecture vision for the initiatives. Finally, you will be required to actively build bridges towards business to try and anchor enterprise architecture in a business context.
This role will require you to demonstrate leadership within the area of IT architecture, as well as a very good understanding of the banking and finance business environment.
The qualifications you need
You have a Bachelors or Master's degree in engineering, science or finance/economics. You also have evidence of certification with ap-propriate enterprise architecture professional bodies (e.g. TOGAF).
In addition, you have:
• A professional track record of working as an IT architect
• A Background in Business/Finance or with data warehouse
• Experience with Business Intelligence
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to facilitate dialogue and drive decisions
• A long-term perspective combined with a 'can-do' attitude
Lastly, you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
