At Global Finance Operations (GFO), you will be a key contributor to the creation of the next generation Finance community - One Finance. As part of our team, you will get an opportunity to lead, develop and implement smart and nimble finance processes and analysis to support the business in the best way. The work will be done in close cooperation with other finance function such as Business Control and Group Finance as well as the operational units.
We are recruiting an Expert Financial Controller to the Regional Financial Control team. The team is an active partner to business and finance teams in the Regions (EMEA, APAC and Americas), markets and GCS, interpreting key financial information that serves as basis for performance assessment and operational decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Active financial and business partner to regions and markets
* Drive financial reviews e.g. actuals and outlooks and keep a continuous dialogue with the sales companies within a region to understand, but also to challenge financial and operational performance
* Compile and present the regional development with regards to actuals and outlooks, focusing on financial analysis as well as KPIs and trends
* Perform ad hoc analysis
* Take global financial process ownership related to sales companies in order to secure a standardized way of working and continuous improvement
* Support with controller knowledge and expertise when new IT systems are developed
* Close cooperation with Business and Financial control (regions/markets), other GFO teams and Group Finance
Desired Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or equivalent
* Strong in interpret and communicate financial information in a clear and concise way
* Strong analytical skills and ability to take own initiatives, work proactively and further develop the role and global processes
* Good knowledge of financial tools & systems, such as Excel, SAP R3, Smartview/HFM
* High level of business acumen
* Ability to work both independently and in a team
* Proficient in both written and spoken English
Experience from working in sales companies is a merit
