About this opportunity
Welcome to Data & Reporting - a team in Investment Center where we have focus on solutions at the heart of investment advice and customer reporting. We are part of an Agile Release Train when it comes to developing new solutions and improving existing. We are also responsible for running some key processes that are of high regulatory and group importance. As an Expert Business Analyst, you'll play a valuable role in developing our platform for investment product data, setting up working processes and use them to ensure that we on an ongoing basis have quality in our data.
Your role:
* Be part of a data team responsible for enabling high quality data platforms used for investment advice, customer services, and legal reporting
* Use your analytical skills and product competencies to identify and clarify the requirements for our data platform
* Be part of implementing the Strategy on Data for Investment Advice and reporting
* Set-up working processes for data governance to ensure we have the correct investment data with the right quality
* Analyze existing data sourcing set-up and propose new ways of obtaining the needed data in an simplified manner
* Work closely together with IT as well as other colleagues in the agile release train and specialists in Investment Center
* Work closely together with other internal Nordea clients/stakeholders, including Personal Banking, Private Banking, Business Banking and Investment Product Operations

You'll join Investment Center, which is the central part of enabling best-in class investment advice and good investment products for Nordea customers.

The role can be based in either of our four Nordic locations.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Possess 3 years or more of experience
* Have strong analytical competencies - be able to systematically break down data inconsistencies, investigate the root causes and set up processes that will find the errors in our data and correct them
* Can drive tasks on your own but equally skilled in facilitating collaboration around tasks
* Take ownership and show passion for moving this area to a new level
* Have an innovative mindset and a natural curiosity
* Have great communication skills - clearly communicate complex issues in an easy and understandable manner to a wide range of stakeholders
* Master collaboration in practice - work closely with other SMEs, involve stakeholders and always asking questions and investigating alternative solutions

Your experience and background:
* Understanding investment product (instrument) features and data attributes, and investment products (wrappers/agreements)
* Knowledge and experience working with databases and interests in various programming languages such as VBA, Python, SQL, also advanced experience in Excel
* Extensive experience analyzing source systems and understanding the business - is high quality data needed in all situations or do we have areas where we can accept lower quality?
* Experience with business development and digital applications in an agile and cross-country organization
* Understanding the value chain, e.g. what data is needed in each part of the value chain
* Excellent English language skills are required
