The Test Environment sector within BID (BID TE) designs, build and configures the Test Environment needed by developing team within Ericsson. Teams utilizing the environments are located all around the world at different Ericsson sites.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
In BID TE we work with building and configuring test environments utilized by developing units. We need to continuously identify possible improvements and act on impediments raised by the organization. We are now looking for a driver with the possibility to take on the role as a driver within the test environment area. As a driver your responsibility and tasks include:
Identify new, and drive existing, initiatives within the test environment area, e.g.
Build and flow efficiency
Introduction of new test environment solutions
Improvement initiatives
5G and cloud environment integration
Work globally towards multiple sites and organizations
Contribute to new strategies/WoW within the test environment area
BID is an organization within Ericsson that wants to create a state of the art development and test environment that gives Ericsson a competitive advantage. We have teams spread internationally on different continents working with development. We are in a transition to component based architecture and cloud based deployment and we are in a contsant change towards leaner, agile and continuous everything development and operations (Devops).
The Test Environment sector within BID (BID TE) have teams in Sweden, Hungary, Canada.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:
M.Sc or relevant education on similar level
Very good communication skills
Experience in driving projects/tasks in a non-local setting
A strong sense of urgency and teamwork spirit
Knowledge about telecom test environments is a merit (e.g. eNodeB, TM500, UCTool, RNC)
Knowledge about test labs, data centers and experience from telecom industry is a merit
