hela Sverige Our unit drives the work in technical areas for 5G such as radio resource management, advanced antenna systems, massive MIMO, beamforming, Internet-of-Things (IoT) adaptations and other emerging technologies. We lead the analysis and specification of new radio network features, engage in 3GPP standardization, develop and use simulators to optimize signal processing algorithms, collect and analyze data from customer networks, perform troubleshooting and different market support activities.

RAN System Management is a global organization with units based in Sweden, Canada, Poland, Korea and China. This position is based in Lund Sweden.
You will have the opportunity to work with:
• Identifying technical requirements based on business needs and opportunities
• Come up with system solutions to meet the technical requirements
• Perform studies in early phases of product development
• Continuously enhance our link and system level simulators
• Perform trouble shooting and customer support
• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
Your profile:
• PhD or MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
• More than 5 years of work experience in relevant areas
• Good knowledge of 4G LTE mobile communication systems and/or other IP based wireless technologies
• Telecom business understanding
• Product Development and Product Life Cycle flow knowledge
• Programming and software development skills
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
• Good teamworking and networking abilities
• Lean & Agile knowledge and skills

There are opportunities for several interesting and challenging tasks, such as driving studies of different new RAN functions, developing and using advanced simulators, acting as bridge to design and verification, taking responsibility for a specific technical area, and engaging in various customer support activities.
